Professor Alex Nascimento is a 4th-degree black belt under Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and has studied Judo & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 30+ years. He started at the age of 9 in his hometown Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and never stopped. In his early adulthood, he became deeply connected with the Gracie family legacy, shaping the foundation of his life with discipline and a devotion to a healthier lifestyle. He is a proud member of the Gracie Barra organization and had the chance to train with the best in the sport on daily basis.
Alex upholds a strong set of moral values and personal discipline. In addition to teaching self-defense and high-level jiu-jitsu techniques, Professor Alex is committed to sharing the deep philosophy of the art with his students. He values respect and sportsmanship, making sure his students not only become skilled in technique but also embrace the true legacy of this martial art.
